Get Paid Faster
1. Bill as early as possible. Don't wait until the end of the month or until the project is complete.
2. Offer discounts for early payment.
3. Creat and use a "late payment" report. Spend your time on the "over 90 day" customers, and think twice about doing business with them again. If you do continue to do business with them ask them for partial payment up front.
4. Take advantage of any payment terms your customers offer. Encourage electronic funds transfers.
5. Don't waste your time trying to get large companies to change their payment terms.
