Evergreen Announces an Important Product Lifecycle Notification for Customers using the following FormScape products:
Standard Support will end for FormScape versions 3.3.2 or earlier AND Covus versions 3.0.2 or earlier, including any Maintenance service packs or patches, effective August 1, 2011, or on the date of your first maintenance renewal thereafter. After this date, these products will move into the Extended Support period of their lifecycle. The Extended Support period will remain active for up to one (1) year, but no later than August 1, 2012. After August 1, 2012, these products will reach their End of Life. At that time, support, engineering modifications, content updates or access to previously issued patches or hot fixes for these specific product versions will no longer be provided.
While this Extended Support date provides your company with significant time to prepare, we encourage you to contact your account executive as soon as possible to begin migration planning. As a reminder, customers current with Evergreen’s software maintenance program are entitled to the latest version of Transform software at no charge. Professional services are strongly recommended to ensure a successful upgrade.
If an upgrade or migration to a newer solution is not optimal for your organization at this time, you may elect to remain with your current solution during the Extended Support period; however, annual maintenance costs will increase 30 percent over and above existing standard maintenance fees beginning August 1, 2011 for maintaining resources in support of aging technology.
