    2. Gun Group Fights Ohio Cities’ Anti-Gun Regulations

Gun Group Fights Ohio Cities’ Anti-Gun Regulations
Ive said before that whenever any government at any level passes a new gun control law, that law needs to be challenged immediately in a court of law. It needs to become so standard that communities looking at pushing anti-gun measures down peoples throats will also start to account for the legal costs before passing any such measure. Luckily, this is already happening.

Once Again, We See The Unreasonable Nature Of Anti-Gunners
Shortly after the Constitution was ratified, our Founding Fathers set to work on something else. They figured that as good as the Constitution was, it still left a few things up for grabs. They wanted to preserve a few key rights, civil liberties that they believed were essential for our nations future. Among those were the right to free speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of the press, just to ...

    4. Another Florida Tragedy, This Time Showing Gun Control’s Failure

Another Florida Tragedy, This Time Showing Gun Control’s Failure
Florida feels kind of like the epicenter of tragedy in this country at the moment. Despite it having no kind of monopoly on horrible events, one can almost be forgiven for believing otherwise. The most recent involved a man taking four children hostage after his girlfriend told police hed battered her earlier this week. In the end, all four children were killed, a police officer was shot, and the hostage ...

    5. The right to bear arms isn’t up for debate

The right to bear arms isn’t up for debate
When debating the wisdom of the Constitutions Second Amendment, the media tends to start from the presumption that the question is purely scientific, and that the answers can and should be derived from statistical analyses and relentless experimentation. This approach is mistaken. The right of the people to keep and bear arms is not the product of the latest research fads or exquisitely tortured data journalism, but a natural extension ...

'Gunfight: The Battle over the Right to Bear Arms in America' by Adam Winkler - Chicago Tribune
In recent decades, gun rights and gun control have been high on the list of issues in the cultural war sharply dividing Americans. Gun control's passionate proponents and opponents clash in the media, city council chambers, state legislatures, Congress, and the courts. What one side perceives as necessary to stem out-of-control violence in urban centers, the other fears as the road to unlawful confiscation and abridgement of constitutional liberties ...

    11. Rhode Island Gun Control Bills One Step Closer

Rhode Island Gun Control Bills One Step Closer
The state of Rhode Island might not be a very large state by any stretch of the imagination, but they are still a state. That means they get to make their own laws, even if those laws are completely stupid. For example, theyre looking at passing one that, while not unique, will accomplish absolutely nothing. It seems the state is one step closer to passing some gun control bills.

Seven Concealed Carry Essentials For Every Man
If youre going to carry a concealed firearm, there are certain things you really must have. Recently, I was asked to mention what I considered the essentials for a man going about town with a concealed firearm. Im going to assume you already have a gun, of course, but if not then the discussion of what to look for is a whole other topic for another post.

      Fact Sheet: Gun Violence
As policymakers and law enforcement professionals search for ways to prevent school shootings, it is important to know the facts about gun violence. 1. About Inland Training

    About The Instructors

Inland Training Courses are conducted by Certified Instructors with an solid background in Safety & Shooting Skills:

Instructor Ken McGreevy. Ken began shooting as a boy of 10, when he somehow talked his Dad into getting him a Marlin bolt-action .22 and went to the NRA Hunter Safety Class. During his college years at Cypress College, he worked as an instructor at the Winchester-Watson Trap and Skeet range in Carson.

Also while in College, at San Jose State University, Ken was the victim of an armed robbery and had to use his shooting skills with a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver to survive an attack. His experience with Law Enforcement and the Courts led him to volunteer as a Reserve Deputy with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department in 1987. In 1992, he attended the FBI Firearms Instructor School, and began teaching at the Sheriff's Academy. Since then, he has attended other Instructor Schools, and wrote the Sheriff's Department's Firearms Instructor's Handbook which is used as the textbook for the Firearms Instructor Schools put on by the Academy.

He regularly does "Use of Force" training for the Department where he instructs and evaluates Law Enforcement Officers in the use of Handguns (both revolvers and semi-automatics), shotguns, light rifles, and other firearms, as well as the use of Chemical weapons (Pepper spray, mace, tear gas, etc.), Impact weapons (batons, etc.), and Defensive tactics (He holds a Black Belt in Kung Fu). He is a Certified Armorer for Glock Pistols and AR-15 rifles, and an Emergency Medical Technician.

Additionally, Ken teaches under contract to the Federal Government's Homeland Security Department, working with Federal Flight Deck Officers who are Pilots that have been Deputized and armed to defend their aircraft against terrorists.

Because of Ken's background, training, and experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and skills in tactical shooting scenarios that our Students can take advantage of and benefit from.

Ken's "Day Job" is working for United Airlines as a 747 Pilot. All that time in college teaching and surviving with firearms was to obtain his degree in Aeronautical Operations. After graduation, he worked as a pilot in several jobs, "working his way up". In the 1980's, he owned and operated a Flight School (Pacific Flight) at Riverside Airport, where he was the Chief Flight Instructor, the Chief Pilot, the Director of Operations, and the janitor. He managed 23 airplanes, 3 helicopters, and over 30 full-time employees in the Flight School, the Air Charter business, Aircraft Maintenance Facility, and Fueling Service. Many people he taught to fly are now airline pilots for various airlines. He has also served as an instructor and Evaluator for United Airlines.

With vast experience as a teacher in both Aviation and Law Enforcement Firearms, Ken's teaching skills and abilities are a welcome addition to Inland Training.
